Meet the owner

I’m Dale. My name is on the truck.

I was a framing carpenter for ten years before I built my first fence in 2001. Twenty-five years later, I still come out to every estimate myself.

We do it the slow way on the parts that matter: posts set deep in concrete, rails fastened with coated screws, and gates hung so they close with one finger. A fence should outlast the mortgage.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Don’t see your question? Call us — a real person answers.

Do I need a permit for a fence?

Usually, yes. Most towns require one, and many neighborhoods also need HOA approval. We handle both for you as part of the job.

How long does a new fence last?

A well-built cedar fence lasts 15 to 20 years. Vinyl and aluminum last 25 years or more with almost no upkeep.

Do you remove my old fence?

Yes. Tear-out and haul-away of the old fence is included in every new-fence estimate.

How do you know where my property line is?

We work from your property survey or marked property pins. If you don’t have them, we can recommend a local surveyor. We always build just inside the line.

How deep do you set the posts?

Below the frost line — usually 36 to 42 inches — and always in concrete. It is the main reason our fences stay straight.
